Duluth, a World Port

Like myself, people love watching ships from around the world come and go through the Port of Duluth.  This video shows boat traffic in the harbor during a 24 hour period on April 14th and 15th 2009. The 4 minute video speeds up the traffic 5 X normal and is set to a song by Crosby, Still, and Nash (Southern Cross).

The Boats include the John Leitch, Cedarglen, Federal Welland, Mademborg, Sebrina, and the Paul Tregurtha.

Another great video. Makes we want to move to Duluth.

Come to Duluth in July or August when it’s 95 F. out. And when you get there it will be about 75. A natural air conditioner. And the temp in the middle of the lake will be in the 40′s.
