With ice floating in the Duluth Shipping Canal, the Lake Superior Seiche, or sometimes referred to as tide, becomes apparent. This time-lapse was taken over a two hour period this afternoon. With temperatures near -15F, Lake Superior is still warm enough to kick up some sea smoke in Two Harbors, even at the end of February.
