Summer Drift!
Although it seems summer is far off, actually it is only a few weeks away. Soon, the salties will be anchored off shore and Wednesday Night sailboat races will be in full swing. Hang in there, at least the mesquites aren't out yet.

Lake Superior Ice
A year ago in April, heavy east winds pushed lake ice into 15ft piles at the end of the piers. This image was taken of the Arthur M Anderson as it pushed through the ice after the storms.

Great Republic loading at Two Harbors
Sporting a fancy new paint job, the Great Republic loaded taconite overnight at the CN Docks in Two Harbors and is on it's way down lake.
