The 1000ft Mesabi Miner departed Duluth at 03:00 this morning with a load of coal destined for Taconite Harbor.

John G Munson opens the 2015 Shipping Season
The John G Munson slipped through light ice and off into Lake Superior late this afternoon to open the 2015 Shipping Season in Duluth.
